NEW CHANGES FOR 2024 ANNUAL CONFERENCE!
Thank you for your feedback on PRIMR23/SBER23. To be responsive to your feedback about our annual event and to our ability to continue to provide a high quality and affordable event, we’re making the following changes to the 2024 program:
- Streamlined Event Format: PRIMR24 will run for two and a half days (vs. three full days), ending at noon on November 20. This change helps attendees save money on hotel accommodations and be away for less time.
- More Networking: The time allocated for lunch will be extended to allow for more opportunities to talk with your colleagues about professional roles, timely topics, and challenges.
- Additional Animal Care and Use Content: Sessions in this content area will now be offered on the third day of the meeting (November 20)!
- Better Diversity of Sessions and Formats: There will be 20 sessions per content block, including plenary and breakout sessions, providing attendees with more choice in content and format within their desired content area.
- Keeping Registration Affordable: Given the rising costs to run events, we are removing lunch. In this way, we can keep registration fees from rising significantly (beverage breaks with snacks and receptions with food and beverages will still be provided). The Exhibit Hall will include grab and go food options for purchase, and we will provide a list of dining options in the area. The lunch period will be extended to accommodate the time needed to get lunch on your own.
- Robust Virtual Option: This year’s virtual offering will include livestreaming and recording of all general sessions and up to 10 sessions per content block. The remaining 10 sessions per content block will be recorded for on-demand access. Please note the cost to attend virtually will be the same as attending in-person because virtual attendees will now have access to all content (160+ sessions!), and subsequent credits.
