We’re seeking volunteers to assist with various activities taking place at PRIMR24. Volunteer opportunities are available for PRIM&R members only who are attending these events.

Attendee Type: Virtual Meeting Attendees

Descriptor: We will host an online community for PRIMR24 Virtual Meeting registrants so they can chat, network, and share information during the conference. We are seeking up to three moderators who will create up to two posts during the event for responses. Moderators must be attending the Virtual Meeting.
Attendee Type: In-Person and Virtual Meeting Attendees
Number of slots: 6
Descriptor: We're seeking up to six registrants to write summaries about the sessions they attended at PRIMR24 (at least one summary per person) for inclusion in 2025 PRIM&R Member Digest issues. Summaries should include session title, a two-three sentence of what the session covered, key take-aways, what the person learned that was new, and how the person intends to implement the knowledge learned. Summaries will be due by December 1, 2024.

Number of slots: No limit!
Descriptor:We're seeking volunteers who can commit to posting up to three Social Media posts while attending PRIMR24. Posts can be about sessions attended, information learned, etc., and can include text and/or images. Posts must tag @Public Responsibility in Medicine and Research and use the hashtags #PRIMR24 (at a minimum). Platforms can include: Facebook, Instagram, and/or LinkedIn.

Descriptor: We're seeking volunteers who can commit to sitting at tables in the Exhibit Hall over the lunch period on November 18-19 to help facilitate conversations among attendees looking to connect with each other. At PRIMR24, the lunch period will run from 11:45 AM-1:30 PM, and attendees will be on their own for lunch. There will be food for purchase in Flex A (connected to the Exhibit Hall) and many options within walking distance. Lunch seating will be available in the Exhibit Hall and the tables will be broken down by the following categories:

Descriptor: We are seeking IACUC professionals who can facilitate games and conversation during our IACUC Game Night on November 19 from 5:00-6:00 PM.
Attendee Type: In-Person
Number of slots: 5 (one per timeslot)
Descriptor: We're seeking volunteers to assist our staff in the PRIM&R Booth in the Exhibit Hall. Volunteers will be available to welcome and engage with attendees (especially our first-time attendees) and take photos for social media. Timeslots include November 18-19 from 7:00-8:15 AM or 12:30-1:30 PM, or November 18 from 5:00-6:00 PM.
