PRIMR24 registration will open June 25, 2024. The following information is about our registration process and policies.

New Changes for 2024 Annual Conference!
Thank you for your feedback on PRIMR23/SBER23. To be responsive to your feedback about our annual event and to our ability to continue to provide a high quality and affordable event, we’re making some changes to the 2024 program. Please visit
this webpage to review those changes.
Registration Information
Please note the following about how to register:
- Each person must register themselves to ensure all contact information and registration selections are correct. One person cannot register multiple people (but one person can still pay for multiple people (see below)).
- You will log into the registration site using your primr.org credentials (by hitting Register above or you will be prompted once you add something to your cart). If you don't have a primr.org account, create one. If you do not remember your password, follow the system prompts to reset your password. If you have a new email address, contact registration@primr.org to update. Do not create a new account.
- You must register for each offering (e.g., PRIMR24, PRIMR24 Workshops, etc.). The PRIMR24 Workshops are not included in PRIMR24 registration. Attendees can go to PRIMR24 Workshop(s) only if preferred.
- The Virtual Meeting includes all content from PRIMR24 (November 18-20)—either livestreamed and/or on-demand—you cannot select specific days. Read more about the virtual event. Attendees can register for in-person programming on November 17 only (PRIMR24 Workshops) plus the Virtual Meeting. The PRIMR24 Workshops are NOT included in the virtual meeting; these programs are in-person only.
- In-person registration closes November 15; virtual meeting registration closes on November 20.
- Review below about how to obtain the government, emerging professionals, and student rates before your register.
- Review our registration policies (below). You agree to these policies when you register.
The conference schedule is as follows (to help you with navigating registration):
- November 17: PRIMR24 Workshops (in-person, half and full day courses)
- November 18-19: PRIMR24; content on human subjects protections, animal care and use, crossover topics, institutional leadership topics
- November 20: PRIMR24; content on human subjects protections, animal care and use, and crossover topics only

- You can purchase a new membership or renew your membership during registration when prompted by the system. Renewal begins when your current membership expires. Learn more about membership.
- Important! Starting when PRIMR24 registration opens, PRIM&R membership is increasing to $315/year. With this increased cost, members will now receive access to all PRIM&R webinars for free, a new and enhanced member publication, and more! Learn more about our enhanced membership model.
*In-person registration closes on November 15; virtual meeting registration closes on November 20.
**We are not offering one day rates or a two day rate that is only November 19-20.
***Government Rate: Applies to anyone working for a Federal Government Agency. Before registering, email us from your government email address to request access. Once your employment is confirmed, you will be notified that you can register.
****Student Rate: Available to anyone enrolled full-time in a high school or college/university at the time of the conference. Before registering, email us a copy of your student enrollment. After this information is received, you will be notified that you can register.
*****Emerging Professional Rate: Available for those individuals who will be 30 or younger at the time of the conference. Before registering, email us a copy of a government issued photo ID that includes your birthdate. After this information is received, you will be notified that you can register.
******Bridging the Gap: This tour is limited to 30 people and proof of TB and measles vaccinations are required. See course description for more information.
Group discount: For every 10 individual registrations purchased by a single institution (in-person, virtual, PRIMR24 Workshops), we will provide
one free additional registration equal to or less than the most expensive registration in the group. Register and pay for the first 10 individuals online
first, then send proof of registration and payment to
registration@primr.org. Once your purchase is verified, we will provide instructions for using your free registration(s). Institutions that have multiple campuses/branches need to confine registrations to their campus/branch.
The free registration must be processed before the conference happens. Scholarship Programs: For those seeking financial assistance, PRIM&R will offer Institutional Capacity Building (conference registration plus travel support) and General Conference Scholarship (conference registration only) Programs. Information on these programs will be available in the spring of 2024.
Payment Options
Individuals can pay in the following ways:
- Online Registration: register online and note the following:
- Each person must register themselves to ensure all contact information and registration selections are correct. We do not allow one person to register multiple people at a time online (see below on how to process payment for a group of registrations).
- Payment options include credit card, check (address below), ACH, or wire transfer (bank information below).
- To pay by check, ACH, or wire transfer, select the “Invoice Me” option on the checkout page, enter PO number to create invoice. If you don’t have a PO number, type “check/ACH/wire forthcoming” in the PO field. Mail checks to the address below. See bank information below for ACH and wire transfers. Be sure to include the sales order number from your invoice on payment remittance to ensure correct and prompt payment application.
- If you need to pay for multiple people in one payment, have each person register themselves and send you the invoice. Once all invoices are received, continue with payment as described above. Be sure to include all sales order numbers from the invoices on payment remittance to ensure correct and prompt payment application.
- Register by PDF Registration Form: For those unable to use online registration because of extenuating circumstances only, please email us in order to fill out our PDF registration form. The forms should be completed and sent to PRIM&R by November 15. If you'll be paying by credit card, a PRIM&R staff member will contact you. Send checks to the address below. Be sure to include all sales order numbers from the invoices on payment remittance to ensure correct and prompt payment application.
