This workshop is designed to help senior HRPP/IRB and IACUC professionals prepare for leadership roles in compliance. Through case studies, didactic presentations, and interactive exercises, attendees will gain insight into the challenges and opportunities of leadership roles in research compliance, as well as strategies for developing the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to succeed. Workshop hosts will present real-life case studies and facilitate discussions on key topics such as ethical challenges, regulatory compliance, stakeholder management, decision-making, and effective leadership practices. Attendees will also have the opportunity to practice their interviewing skills and receive feedback and coaching from workshop hosts.
