This session will address local research context considerations for inclusion of personnel affiliated with the US Department of Defense (DoD). It will present views of DoD human research protection professionals in the context of an organization which supports research with efficiency.

Learning Objectives:

  • Summarize common local research context considerations for DoD-affiliated personnel
  • Describe strategies to obtain DoD-unique approvals (e.g., Command approval for use of their personnel or facilities)
