Malica T. Dock serves as the Assistant Director for the IRB Reliance Team within the Rutgers University Human Research Protection Program/Institutional Review Board (HRPP/IRB). In this role, Malica oversees the day-to-day operations of the Reliance team, facilitates reliance agreement review processes, and supports overall IRB office operations. Prior to joining Rutgers University in 2017, Malica held the position of Assistant Director at the Rutgers Institutional Review Board, managing staff and operations at the Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS) campus. With over 20 years of experience in human research, Malica's expertise spans research, ethics, and compliance. She played a pivotal role as a co-lead in Rutgers University's initial Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Program (AAHRPP) accreditation in 2022. Currently, Malica is a Staff Senator of the Rutgers University Senate, an active member of the Rutgers University Scarlet Honor Council, University Hearing Board, and various other human research committees. Additionally, she has been a member of the Public Responsibility in Medicine and Research (PRIM&R) Membership Committee since 2019 and is involved with the Consortium to Advance Effective Research Ethics Oversight (AEREO).
