Avery Freed, CIP is the Director of the Human and Animal Research Protections Programs and oversees four research committees: The Institutional Review Board (IRB), the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), the Data and Safety Monitoring Board (DSMB), and the Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) at Hackensack Meridian Health. Avery has been working in IRB and general Research Administration for 17 years and at Hackensack Meridian Health for 5 years.
