Linda Coleman is the Associate Vice Provost, Research Policy & Integrity at Stanford University, where she oversees areas including research security, conflict of interest, data governance and privacy, and the responsible and ethical conduct of research. Before joining Stanford, she was the Director of the Human Research Protection Program at Yale University. Prior to Yale, Linda held progressive roles, including Vice President of Legal & Regulatory Affairs and Director of Regulatory Affairs & General Counsel, at Quorum Review (now part of Advarra), an independent IRB and consulting organization serving institutional, independent, and international research sites. Earlier in her career, she worked as an Attorney at Bennett, Bigelow & Leedom, focusing on health law, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, litigation, behavioral health, and employment law.
Linda is actively involved in the research ethics community, serving on various advisory committees and boards. Her interests include ethical integrity in human subjects research and emerging research domains, decentralized trials, data protection, research capacity building, bioethics, global research issues, and improving access to healthcare and research participation.
