Dr. Courtney Horvath is an Executive Director at Novartis Biomedical Research in Cambridge, MA. A graduate of the Dartmouth Superfund Program, her research on the impact of low-dose arsenic exposure in drinking water gained international recognition. After completing her PhD and postdoctoral work, Courtney transitioned into the biopharmaceutical industry as a toxicologist, earning board certification from the American Board of Toxicology. She has since advanced to a leadership role focused on Strategy, Operations and Portfolio Delivery in Translational Medicine. Courtney is also the mother of a pediatric cancer survivor, a journey that inspired her to deliver a TEDx talk and become a passionate advocate for childhood cancer patients.
