Mayumi Kusunose (PhD, MBioethics, HEC-C) is a senior technical scientist at the Laboratory for Biomedical Ethics and Co-Design, part of the Center for Integrative Medical Sciences at RIKEN, Japan. Her role at RIKEN includes providing research ethics consultations, engaging with the public, and conducting research on ELSI, particularly in relation to human samples and data sharing.
