Ivana Simic, PhD

University of Florida

Ivana Simic, PhD, is the Associate Director of University of Florida Institutional Review Boards. She manages Biomedical and Social/Behavioral IRBs that cover Gainesville and Jacksonville campuses. Prior to joining the IRB, Ivana has taught Bioethics and Applied Epistemology at the University of Florida. Ivana has an strong interest in single IRB, among other IRB topics. She has been involved in single IRB work for several years and has co-led SMART IRB working group to harmonize ancillary reviews.
Ivana has a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Florida.
