Dr. Glenn Martin MD CIP Is currently the Senior Associate Dean for Human Subjects Research and Executive Director of the Program for the Protection of Human Subjects (PPHS) at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He has decades of experience in the worlds of human subject protections and clinical informatics. Prior to heading up the PPHS Dr. Martin was the Director of Medical Informatics for the Queens Health Network and was the Medical Director and Member of the Board of Directors NY Care Information Gateway (NYCIG). He served on the Policy committee of the New York eHealth Collaborative (NYeC). He previously ran an urban psychiatric emergency room and then headed the department of psychiatry, providing over 15 years of direct patient hospital care and administrative leadership.
