Shannon Ramsey (she/her/hers)

Shannon Ramsey is the Sr. Program Manager for Research Compliance at Allen Institute, overseeing IACUC, IBC, and Human Protections compliance. Shannon has worked at Allen Institute since 2013. In this role, Shannon supports Allen Institute’s mission of Open Science for the organization’s neuroscience, cell science, and immunology research and serves as the co-chair of its DEI&B Council. Previously Shannon worked as an IACUC Administrator for a CRO for nine years. Shannon received her bachelor's degree in History with a minor in philosophy from The Evergreen State College. Shannon serves as Secretary of the board for the Northwest Association of Biomedical Research, as the co-chair of NWABR’s IACUC Conference planning committee. She is also a member of Public Responsibility in Medicine and Research and the American Association of Laboratory Animal Science.
