Ms. Ianthe “Cookie” Bryant-Gawthrop, MS, CRA, CIP, has worked in the research regulatory compliance field for 18 years. After multiple leadership roles in research compliance at a higher education institution, she now is focused on building best practices and connecting with the thoughtful individuals in the field of research protections. As the Director of Programs at PRIM&R, she strives to elevate PRIM&R's mission and educational programs to navigate the ever-changing regulatory and ethical research landscape.
Ms. Bryant-Gawthrop holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Genetics and Microbiology, along with a research-based Master’s degree in Molecular Biology where she explored the role of ErbB tyrosine kinases in human cancers. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Higher Education. In her spare time, she enjoys time with family and friends, crocheting, and yoga as both a student and certified yoga teacher.
