Lauren Milner, PhD (she/her/hers)

Office of the Chief Medical Officer, FDA

Lauren Milner, PhD, currently works as a regultory policy advisor in FDA’s Office of Clinical Policy, specializing in bioethics and human subjects research policy. Before joining FDA, Dr. Milner worked as a policy analyst in the Office of Science Policy at NIH. Dr. Milner received postdoctoral training in biomedical ethics at Stanford University where she conducted research on the ethical, legal and social implications of emerging genomic technologies, genetic research into mental health conditions, and research using “big data.” She received her PhD in Behavioral Neuroscience from Oregon Health and Science University, where she conducted research on genetic contributions to alcohol dependence, and a BA in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
